The Concept

"Skullcandy has been a unique venture since day one, as we've built the brand on our ability to provide our customers with unique products that fit their lifestyle and needs," said Rick Alden, chief executive officer and founder of Skullcandy. "Our unique product design, coupled with Qualcomm's low power mirasol™ display, greatly enhances sports-related mobile entertainment and will give our customers long battery life and the ability to see their content nearly anywhere."

The Product

For the first time ever, Skullcandy introduces a DJ style headset with a built-in detachable mp3 player. Listen to music wirelessly through the 40mm power drivers, or pull the player, slide on the battery pack and transform it into a mini portable mp3 player for use with any headset. Portable music device users geared toward the action sports market will benefit immediately from the mirasol display's low power usage and great clarity in bright environments.
